Switch Variable Delay Line
As a
result of the demand for switch variable delays in the nanosecond range,
Allen Avionics has designed these delay
lines. These units consist of individual delay lines each having its own
switch. The time delay is changed by switching one or more individual
delay lines in series with the input and output connections.
The delayed output is always the
summation of individual delay lines and not the result of a tapped line.
This feature is an important factor in eliminating undesirable reflections
in the output pulse. BNC female connectors are supplied for input and
output terminations.
Delay Tolerance at any setting:
5% or 1 nanosecond,
whichever is greater.
Distortion:
3% maximum with 20
nanosecond input rise time.
Temperature Coefficient:
50 parts/million°C
from - 25°C to +85°C. |
